Question by lovekoalas: What are the BEST day tours in Cairns, Australia?
I will be in Cairns for 3 days and I want to see and do as much as possible. We think the best options are day tours, any suggestions? We want ones that help us see a lot without feeling rushed and aren't super expensive. We also want to make sure we go to a place where we can hold a Koala.

Take the train to Kuranda and the aerial tramway back.

They will even pick you up from your motel/hotel.
Also there is a Cairns Tropical Zoo – 20 mins from the city, have a photo taken while cuddling a koala – (or snake LOL)
Then a day trip out to the reef or Green island for some snorking on the reef to find nemo!
