Question by : Any good wine tours in Sidney, Australia?
My husband and I are planning to visit Australia on January 2010. I'm wondering if any of you have been there and can you recommend any good wine tours?

I've visited that country before. I do believe they still have the Hunter Valley Wineries and Hunter Valley Wine Tasting Tours. It's only a two hour drive from Sydney and is famous as Australia’s oldest wine growing region.

Make sure you go late January because late January to late March is the harvest season, but there are things to do the year round and plenty of cellar doors to visit for tastings, even buy a case or two.
